Thanks for your comments and I totally agree!! Thanks for contributing your personal experience and your advice. Have you checked into iodine? That may be one additional element/nutritent essential for your long term breast health and repair. ~~Dr Sherri

I. like Tracy Craig, had DCIS picked up on mammography. Immediately, I changed my lifestyle. I KNEW I was eating terribly, on the run, stressed. I do ALL of the suggested preventative measures and then some now and have for over 2 years! I had a pH of 5.5 at diagnosis--cancer-range. That changed with diet very quickly.

I did cottage cheese and flax oil for 4 weeks prior to lumpectomy, and my husband was told they saw no visible sign of cancer when they went in, confirmed by lab pathology. He thought they misdiagnosed me, although I don't believe that. I saw the mammography. Since then, I have become a Certified Health Counselor, and what I find is that people THINK they eat well, but an analysis of diet reveals otherwise. There is so much processed food and sugar in the Standard American Diet. And, the chemicals we must endure exposure to in cosmetics, cleaning products, etc., are numerous. I did radiation under the threat that if I didn't, I "should go back to the surgeon and have my breast removed." I did not do it without taking high dose beta glucan and homeopathic radium bromide and my side effects were minimal with the slight pinkness gone within two weeks. I don't want to "glow in the dark" -- I have had enough radiation.

I am opting to do thermography this go round. By the way, I do not take Tamoxifen. I trust God and nature over the drug, and my "side effects" are that I look 10 years younger than I did 5 years ago, my skin that was dry all of my life is not any longer, I lost body fat and cellulite, particularly in the bottom half of my body (I can wear a bikini at age 51), I have muscles I never knew I had and never could develop before and most amazing of all, I do not burn in the sun--I tan--something I could never do before, as well. I have sunscreen from within due to omega 3 balance and antioxidants.

If after all of this, cancer takes me, it will be God's will, but I believe all the "mini miracles" that have happened to me are signs that I have done the right thing. Women need to really examine their lives, their diets and their habits.
